American/Australian female accent with Natural speed please! Thank you so much ^^

1. Do you like math?
It really depends on what kind of math you are talking about. When it comes to general math like the one I learned in primary school and high school, so I kinda like it. But when I entered university, advanced math was a nightmare because it was more complicated and I failed several times.
Honestly, I didn't really love Math when I was a kid because I found it extremely tedious and rigid. But when I entered middle school, I gradually found myself more comfortable in Math and often got good marks in this subject and this made me even more passionate about Math.

2. Do you think math is important?
Yes, definitely. Math plays an important role in our life. We all need a basic grounding in math so that we can do daily tasks, like managing our money, working out bills, and so on.
I think it is really important to teach Math to all students because it is applicable in a lot of fields.

3. When do people in your country start to learn math?
If my memory serves me right, I started learning how to count when I was in kindergarten. In Vietnam, every child has to be able to count, read and write before primary school, which may be pretty odd to some people from other countries
I don't remember exactly but Math is a compulsory subject in elementary school. All children must learn this complex subject from first grade. So I've been learning simple addition ever since.

4. Did your teacher do anything to make it more interesting?
I think an exercise that a teacher can assign to students to make math more relatable thereby making it more interesting is trying to relate real life problems that they can apply their mathematical knowledge to solve. That is the best way to capture the student’s attention in my opinion.
Not only did she made the topic clear but also made sure that we did understand everything well

5. How do you use math everyday?
It is very essential in our everyday lives since everything in this world is interconnected with math. From reading the time and dates to counting money and in budgeting, not to mention understanding the prices of goods and how much we need to pay.
Well, there are actually various real-life applications of math. Take baking for example. In order to bake something, one's need to measure all the ingredients involved in the recipe or otherwise it may not work. Another example is when going shopping, one's need to take into account all the related costs. There are many more but I don't think we can list out all the possibilities.

6. Do you want to learn math in the future?
Oh, I don't because my job has nothing to do with it and don't intend to do anything that largely revolves around math or numbers in the future
That said, I don’t think complex mathematics like calculus are necessary
