Yesterday, I decided to go to Tokyo alone next month! I wonder how many years I have missed Tokyo and been eager to go there.
This Saturday was my birthday, and in the morning I received an e-mail with a beautiful birthday card from one of my university friends. I was so amazed to get it because I hadn't expected anything from my old friends whom I haven't seen for ages.
I am not the kind of person who looks way back in the past, though I felt nostalgic for the good old days when I read his note. I don't know why I get sentimental easily nowadays, but I notice that I miss people and feel lonely sometimes. Have you ever had such feelings for no reason?
After I replied to his e-mail and thanked him, he sent me a few pictures of our classmates who he caught up with last year. Oh my! I saw one person who might have been my ex. He's totally changed..
Seeing my old friends in the photo made me want to be with them again. I'm not sure if I can meet up with them because I took the liberty to set the dates without asking about their plans. At any rate, his e-mail triggered me to get off my butt to plan it!
I am thrilled to visit Tokyo. I may be hanging out around there by myself or, if I'm lucky, someone may offer to see me, but I am not sure. Anyway, I will be there from the 19th to the 22nd next month. yay!
