Natural speed please, emphasise on the stresses.
Thank you.
I wish I was invisible. I mean, who would normally notice a farmer boy wearing the same jacket everyday.
I was the most common and ordinary boy to people. However, my parents saw me as the most extraordinary man in the world. They knew my secret.
When I was 16 years old and a student in high school, I realised that I wanted to be a journalist. My favourite moment back then was when I had to write for the school newspaper. I loved writing articles. Investigating and finding the truth about a story was something I enjoyed doing.
Mum and dad were really supportive. They helped me a lot with everything.
They raised me as if I was their own child, yet, I was adopted.
Dad told me once that people are afraid of what they don't understand. I guess I understand now what he meant. All my life, I had to pretend I was normal. I had to be shy and introvert so people wouldn't notice me. Today, I have to stand up for those who can't protect themselves, and make the world a better place.
My name is Clark Kent, aka Superman.
