English Audio Request

Note to recorder:

If you can find a second person to do one recording, it would be great.
Natural speed, not too fast and clearly articulated if possible. Do not hesitate to correct any mistake you may find in the text. You can change the names as indicated according to your gender but do not read them, they are just indications for the dialogue (if the two people speaking are both men, it should be 'Good Morning Mr Potter' and not Mrs, of course.) Thanks in advance.

Judy (or John) Potter: Good morning!
Mr (or Mrs) Ford: Good morning Mrs Potter, please sit down.
Judy Norton: Thank you.
Mr Ford: So you've come for the receptionist position I believe?
Judy Norton: Indeed. I saw the ad on the internet and I was really looking forward to this interview as I wish to work in your hotel.
Mr Ford: Very well.... Why our hotel? Do you know anything about us?
Judy: Yes, actually I have heard many good things because one of my friends has already worked here: Thomas Ferguson.
Mr Ford: Oh yes! I remember: an outstanding employee and very hardworking! What can you tell me about yourself? What makes you the perfect candidate for this job?
Judy: Well, I am reliable and I am extremely punctual: I have never been late for an appointment.
Mr Ford: Great, it's obviously very important in our field of work.
Judy: I am also really determined. That's why I have practiced my English and Spanish for six months in order to be able to work abroad.
Mr Ford: Wow, impressive! Do you have any experience in the hotel business?
Judy: No, unfortunately but I have already worked in a supermarket and in a coffee shop and I was hired by an agency to help elderly people last year.
Mr Ford: That's quite a CV. What have you learnt which may be useful for this job?
Judy: Well, I saw that you needed to prepare the buffet for breakfast and I served coffee and croissants at the coffee shop. I can make coffee and bake pastries. I can also speak several foreign languages and I'm not too shy so I can answer or make phone calls.
Mr Ford: How would you deal with accidents or problems?
Judy: I know how to perform CPR as I have worked with elderly people.
Mr Ford: Do you know how to use our software to check in the customers?
Judy: No, but my friend told me it was easy after a little bit of training so I am not too scared. I learn fast. I can also balance the cash register as I have done it in the supermarket I used to work at.
Mr Ford: Very well. The salary is about 7.50 pounds per hour and it is a very demanding job. Do you think you have the motivation to do the job?
Judy: Yes, I have what it takes and I will not disappoint you if you hire me. I see this experience as a great opportunity to learn about the hotel industry.
Mr Ford: Fine. Well, thank you for coming. We will contact you by the end of the week to give you an answer.
Judy: Thanks for your time. Have a nice day. Goodbye.
Mr Ford: Thank you, you too. Goodbye.
