The blue whale is the largest known animal in the world. It is between 25 and 32 metres long and weighs more than 180,000 kilograms. The blue whale's tongue weighs around 2,700 kilograms which is about the size of an Asian elephant. Its heart weighs 600 kilograms. The weight and size of the heart is about the same as a small car.
