We all have lockers in America. It's very convenient because we can keep anything we want in there and we don't need to cary everything around. I usually put everything I need for the next two or three classes in my bag and I leave the rest in my locker.
So, in my locker, there is all the books and binders I don't need. There are also some pens and school things in case I have forgotten my pencilcase at home. I always keep some tissues for when I'm sick and a few bars of cereal because I am sometimes hungry in the day.
Sometimes people decorate their lockers and make it very personal, but there isn't much decoration in mine. There is just my timetable and a picture with my friends.
