I would like to draw your attention to some facts about Charlotte Brontë's life : Charlotte Brontë was an English novelist and poet. She was born on the twenty-first of April 1816 in Thornton, Yorskshire, England. She was the third of Patrick Brontë and Maria Branwell's six children. She had a husband : his name was Arthur Nicholls but the couple had no children. Charlotte died, with her unborn child, within a year of their marriage on the thirty-first of March 1855. She was famous for her novel Jane Eyre, published in 1847. Jane Eyre was a strong story of a clever woman struggling with her passions, reasons and social condition. Her other famous novels were Shirley, published in 1849, Villette, published in 1853, The Professor, published in 1857 and Emma which was unfinished. The book was then finished by the author Clare Boylan and it was published in 2003. It was named Emma Brown.
