Soy un estudiante en la secundaria, y tengo el más interés en el estudio de la lengua española. Me gustaría estudiar español en una universidad de un país hispanohablante. Necesito más practica con los varios acentos, y espero que este sitio esté ayudable. Además, tengo interés en el estudio de los lenguajes, la lingüística. Soy del Sur de los Estados Unidos, y por eso es posible que tenga unas influencias de un dialecto del sur, el dialecto de mis padres. Sin Embargo, unos fonologos me han dicho que nada distingue mi accent de "General American" (el accento que se puede oír en las noticias).

I am a high school student, interested in studying Spanish primarily, and am considering studying in college in a Spanish speaking country. I need more practice with listening to different accents, and hope that this site will prove helpful! I am further interested in the study of languages in general, the field of linguistics. I am from the South, and it is possible that I have some influences from a Southern dialect, which my parents have, however several phonologists have told me that nothing diffrentiates my accent from General American.
