Chameleons (family Chamaeleonidae) are a distinctive and highly specialized clade of lizards. They are distinguished by their parrot-like zygodactylous feet, their separately mobile and stereoscopic eyes, their very long, highly modified, and rapidly extrudable tongues, their swaying gait, the possession by many of a prehensile tail, crests or horns on their distinctively shaped heads, and the ability of some to change color. Uniquely adapted for climbing and visual hunting, the approximately 160 species of chameleon range from Africa, Madagascar, Spain and Portugal, across south Asia, to Sri Lanka, have been introduced to Hawaii, California and Florida, and are found in warm habitats that vary from rain forest to desert conditions.

Today I had date with really nice people.
(At least with me, they are the nicest people in the world.)
Yeah~ ^^♪ 'HE', and ' SHE' are really really GOOD to me.
I always felt sorry towards them.
They are my father, my mom and my younger sister (the youngest sister) .
Because as a kid, I haven't been good enough to them yet.
I don`t know when I could do enough good for them.
Maybe it won't be easy for me
By the way, today was late for this important date .
Thistime early in the morning, my husband went to airport, and I drove /took /ride him to airport.
Why? Early in the morning, I drove my husband to the airport.
And after I returned home I fell in a deep sleep again ,so I woke up late.
Of course I took a later bus too.
To make matters worse, I got off one stop later.
I missed my stop because I wasn't paying enough attention since/because I was reading a book in the bus. S~O~~~ @_@~~ I WAS LATE!!!
So today we had samgyetang (chicken soup with ginseng) for lunch.. and my father and mom drunk ginseng liquor
Hahaha~~My fateher enjoys drinking Soju. (Korean general people`s alcoholic drink). can you see father`s cute ^^ ruddy cheeks?

After we had lunch ,we took a walk.

My mom, father, sister and I sat down on a road and burst into laughter ^^.
So happy! So thanksful!

so another funny story is that my father also likes to take pictures.
So I took pictures of him, he took pictures of us...
So mom said, "Oh~ look at you! both of you are the same !
Father and mom had been worked hard for your kids/us .
My father and mom have worked hard for us. Therefore I am here now.

（5月的约会）^^5月7日：
今天我在城市里有个约会。 跟非常好的人的！
跟谁呢？ 是跟非常非常好人! 就是跟我爸妈和妹妹。
我们中午吃了蔘鸡汤，然后出来随便散散步感受一下春天的气氛。
今天空气特别好，也许是昨天下了雨，空气中的尘土都被洗掉的原因吧。

我忽然觉得最近首尔各个地方都设计得还不错。
设计的价值在于使我们在任何地方都可以安逸舒服地休息。
(很多地方，设计了为人们提供休憩的地方。)
(设计得最值得称赞之处，是让我们在什么地方都可以随便坐着休息。)
我在路上拍了照片。觉得很有意思。爸爸拍我们，我拍爸爸妈妈。。。哈哈～～互相拍着笑了！
我们今天好像是从农村初次进成的来的人似的，路上哈哈笑着，拍拍着照片， 挺开心了！

( May 07th 2011)
• I have two dogs, they are named ‘Betty’ and ‘Jjang-ah’。
• (In my home there are two dogs named ‘Betty’ and ‘Jjang-ah’. )
• Sometimes, I really don`t understand/ why they like me so much.
• This time, Jjang-ah is sitting on my lap and he is snoring lightly now.
• Jjang-ah weight 9 more kilograms, may be it `s similar to a 3 months old baby, very heavy.
• My legs are asleep now. // My legs are numb due to his weight.
• If I don`t care/pet him, he used to stand up beside my chair armrest, and just keeps his eyes on me and doesn`t leave。
• *So? There`s no way!Yes! I'm like ok you win, I lose.

(2011.5.5.)우리 집에 개 두 마리가 있는데, 이름이 “베티” 그리고 “짱아”라고 합니다.
그런데 왜 나를 그렇게 좋아하는지 정말 모르겠어요.
Jjang는 지금 내 무릎 위에 올라와 코를 골며 자고 있답니다.
짱아의 체중이 9kg이 넘어서 3개월 된 아기 몸무게와 거의 맞먹는답니다.
너무 무거워요, 지금 제 다리가 저려 오기 시작했습니다.
만약 내가 관심을 안 가지면, 바로 내 의자 팔걸이에 서서는 나를 빤히 쳐다 보며 절대로 떠나가지 않습니다.
그래서요? 할 수 없지요! “그래! 내가 졌다, 네가 이겼다! “

(2011年.5月 5日)我家有两只狗，Betty和Jjang-ah。
有时候我真的不知道，它们为什么这么喜欢我呢？
Jjang-ah坐在我的腿上正在打呼噜着睡觉呢。
Jjang-ah的体重差不多9公斤多，就像三个月的小宝宝的体重一样，很沉chén]，
我的腿开始有点麻[má]了.
如果我不理它的话，它会一直站在我的椅子旁辺，一直盯着我绝对不走.
结果呢？没办法，算我输，它赢了。

===(May 06th 2010)--night walk －－－－
• Yesterday was Children's Day so we (my husband, our two dogs, and I) stayed at home all day
• In the evening I said to my husband, "Lets take a walk with Betty and Zzanga!"
• As it was already past 8 o'clock it was getting dark outside.
• I put on the knapsack containing my inline skates and my husband and I headed out to a small stream near our apartment.
• Of course Betty and ZZanga followed us with excited/ with excitement /excitedly.
• We walked along the small stream, eventually arriving at the inline skating ground/park..
• My husband jogged while I skated.
• Betty and Zzanga ran and jumped, excitedly following us.
• They were excited to be following us.
• There were many people out enjoying an evening walk; families, young couples, old couples, fathers and little kids.
• Some were chatting with friends or family.
• Some were walking their dogs like us.
• It was quiet and peaceful and there was a nice view.
• The night time air was so cool. It was very nice.
• There was also the smell of fresh grass.
• The cool air and smell of fresh grass was really pleasant!
• After enjoying our evening walk, we ended the day by returning home and bathing Betty and Zzanga.
• Now I am writing my Lang-8 journal.

(2010.5.6) 어제는 어린이날이었습니다. 그래서 우리는 (남편과 나, 그리고 우리 집 개 두 마리) 종일 집에 있었습니다.
저녁에 나는 남편에게 베티와 짱아와 산책을 하러 갈까 하고 물어보았습니다.
• 벌써 저녁8시가 넘어서 창 밖은 어두운 밤이었습니다.
• 나는 인 라인 스케이트를 둘러 메고 남편과 함께 집 근처의 작은 개울가로 향했습니다.
• 물론 베티와 짱아는 흥분해서 우리를 따랐고요.
• 우리는 작은 시내를 따라서 걸어 인 라인 스케이트장에 도착했습니다.
• 남편은 조깅을 사직하고 나는 인 라인 스케이트를 타기 시작했습니다.
• 베티와 짱아는 흥분해서 달리고 뛰며 우리 뒤를 따랐습니다.
• 그곳에는 많은 사람들이 저녁 산책을 하고 있었습니다. :가족도 있고, 젊은 남녀도 있었고 , 나이든 부부도 있었고, 아빠와 어린 아이들도 있었습니다.
• 또 어떤 이들은 친구나 가족들과 한담을 나누기도 하고 있었고요.
• 어떤 사람들은 우리처럼 개를 데리고 나온 사람도 있었고요.
• 그것은 정말 조용하고 평화롭고 아름다운 모습이었습니다.
• 선선한 저녁 공기와 신선한 풀 냄새도 정말 좋았습니다.
• 저녁 산책을 끝내고 우리는 집으로 돌아 와 베티와 짱아를 목욕시켰습니다.
• 그리고 지금 나는 Lang-8에 일기를 써봅니다.

• 昨天是儿童节。一整天呆在家里（包括我家两只狗）。 然后呢？是～～的～～～！
• 晚上跟问先生 “吃晚饭后出门走走怎么样？带着Betty and Zzanga去小河边散步吧　？ ”已经超过８点了，外边的天空已经变黑了。
• 我背着旱冰鞋（ inline skate ）和丈夫一起出门了。
• 当然.Betty and ZZanga跟着我们 。
• 我们走了５～１０分到了我们家附近的小河边（안양천安阳川），然后沿着那条河走到了旱冰场。
• 当然.Betty and ZZanga兴奋地跑呀～跳呀～跟着我们的脚，高兴得不得的样子真的好笑。
• 在旱冰场我先生开始跑步，我呢～就开始滑旱冰。
• Betty和Zzanga 跳着，跑着跟我们的后面不停地跑了好几圈。.
• 不过Betty是相当于老奶奶了，最近脚也坏了，所以先让她在长椅上休息一会儿。
• ZZanga呢？到最后跑了跑了，没休息，不想休息！还是年轻的青年（年轻狗？）！
• 当那个夜晚的時間～ 在那边～有很多人。
• 有一家人，　　一对年轻人夫妇，还有对老夫妇，带儿子的年轻爸爸，母女，朋友们，，等等　看起来人一种平静的感觉。
• （都让我们感到很和谐。）/（看起来都很平静。）
• 他们走走，跑跑，骑骑自行车，坐着在长椅上聊聊，都很享受夜里的时间。 （他们　有的人走走，有的人跑跑，有的人骑骑自行车，也有一人坐着在长椅上聊聊天，都享受处夜里的时间的样子。）
• 所以～～～那是真的很祥和的情景。
• 不管怎么样～　还有夜里的空气很爽快，感觉很好！
• 而且还青草的味道，给我们更新鲜的感觉，让我们很舒服.
• 玩够后，我们回家给Betty and Zaanga 洗澡，那之后结束了这个一天。
• 然后睡之前该要写 lang-8 日记，不过太累了先거睡了。
• 所以现在才写昨天的日记呢。

Being an English-speaking stranger in Japan is not easy if you can’t speak or read Japanese very well. In European countries you can check unfamiliar words in a few seconds, but finding the meaning of an unknown kanji can take ten minutes.
This is a potentially dangerous problem when it comes to food. For example, the first time I attempted to eat a self-heating bento, I mis-read the instructions and opened the bottom section; it contained a white substance I thought was some kind of rice. Wrong! It was the mineral responsible for the heating. The first mouthful made that very clear. Fortunately, I survived.
One of my silliest experiences happened when I visited Nara with an American friend just after we arrived in Japan. A little old lady had a stall in the park selling various snacks; being a little puckish, we purchased some cheap brown biscuits. They had a rather rough texture and not much flavour, but we consumed them anyway. Can you guess what happened next? Yes, when we entered the park we noticed that all the other visitors who had bought the same biscuits were feeding them to the deer. Oh, dear! Fortunately, we didn’t grow antlers.
