I'm gonna introduce competitors. first competitor is flamingo las vegas. flamingo las vegas is one of the most historic hotel-casinos on th strip. it was built in the 1940. the hotel offers casino along with 3626 hotel rooms. with lush gardens, water falls, and spa, the flamingo remains a luxurious oasis for visitors. The 15 acres site's architectual theme is reminiscent of th art deco and streamling modern style of miami and south beach.
second competitor is paris las vegas. the paris las vegas was opened in 1999(nineteen ninety nine). paris las vegas is a hotel and casino located on the las vegas strip in paradise, Nevada, USA. It has 2,915 rooms and casino. its theme is the city of paris in france. it includes a half scale, replica of the 에펠타워, a sign in the shape of the montgolfier ballon. the front of the hotel suggests the paris opera house and the Louvre.
Finally competitor is planet hollywood resort & casino. the planet hollywood resort was opened in 1963. It has 2500 rooms and casino. It features rooms that meet its hollywood theme. the resort has 52 floors (with the final two being VIP) and each room is dedicated to a certain movie such as backdraft. rooms feature actual props and momorabilia from the film. the rooms range from standard to luxurious "panorama" suites with a view of the whole las vegas strip.

U.S. Mission Educates Authoritarian Korean Dads Traditionally authoritarian Korean immigrant men attend Father School in the U.S. to be better dads, the International Herald Tribune reported Monday. Father School was started at the Duranno Bible College in Seoul in 1995, and nearly 200,000 men have passed through its portals worldwide so far.

Since it started in the U.S. in 2000, Father School has established itself in 57 American cities. The program has popular because it is tailored to meet the needs of Korean immigrant fathers dealing with conflict with family members. Americanized kids often wondered "why their fathers weren't more like the touchy-feely dads they watched on TV," the IHT reported.

Its aim, according to the organization's guidebook, is to combat "the growing national epidemic of abusive, ineffective and absentee fathers."

Seventy Korean men attended four recent five-hour sessions of Father School in Artesia, California. Participants wrote letters to break away from a vague sense of confidence that they are good fathers and look at themselves objectively, a school staffer said.

They also learned how to renew their relationship with their wives. Just as they had learned at the school, participants said to their wives, "I love you" and asked them out on a date. One said his wife "was so flabbergasted by the invitation that she refused to go," according to the daily.

(May 9th 2011)<Lotus Lantern Festival Marks Buddha's Birthday>--

Seoul was aglow over the weekend with the annual Lotus Lantern Festival ahead of Buddha's Birthday, which falls on Tuesday this year.

The festivities drew large crowds to view the some 20,000 lanterns lining the streets.

A lotus lantern parade started at 6 p.m. on Saturday at Dongguk University and headed to Jogye Temple, the headquarters of the nation's largest Buddhist sect. A post-parade celebration was held at the Bosingak Bell Pavilion until 11 p.m.

The celebrations continued through Sunday, with another parade in downtown Seoul in the evening.

Starting a meal with fibrous food makes you feel full sooner. Chilies are full of capsaicin that helps decompose fat.

◆ Balance Food on the Table

Some people say they never lose weight although they eat less. One likely reason is because they eat only what they want to eat. There are nutrients that are burned as energy and nutrients that help burn calories, and unbalanced diet often leads to shortage of the latter. Try having all different kinds of food on the table.

◆ Keep a Journal

A food journal helps you discover problems in your dietary habits and gives you an idea of how to improve them. While keeping a record of what you eat, you realize how much calories, fat, and sugar are contained in the chocolate, candy and drinks you half-consciously snack on through the day. • Yesterday , I came/got home very late, so I couldn`t write a jounal entry, I just fell asleep.
• So now I am writing journal entry about yesterday`s meeting with my best friends.
• First of all, I will introduce my two best friends.
• They are my friends from university.
• When we were students at the same university, we did not know each other. (=We graduated from the same school, but we didn't know at that time.)
• After graduating we met at our first job place.
• When we first started working, we worked at the same school, and became acquainted with each other.
• We spent most of our time together.
• We talked together, went on trips together, worked together, and spent most of our time together.
• Even though within a certain period of time ,we couldn't see each other very often because we were busy getting married, having children, working, doing housework and taking care of kids, etc, we kept in touch till today/ now/. Seeing them felt so good.
• So yesterday evening we met at the 대학로, and watched a movie .
• It was a Korean movie, named 'Hahaha 하하하 ', it's a laughting sound.
• It was a story about a very very ordinary person's normal story.
• After we finished watching the movie we went to a sandwich and wine house.
• That restaurant has a familial atmosphere. That sandwish house`s owners were was a middle-aged couple ,
• and they were very nice people, very kind and vey smart.
• Of course the aroma of the wine was nice , and the sandwich was also very delicious.
• that middle-aged couple `s service was so comfortable. We talked so much , and had a pretty good time.
• So we decided that we would go on a 2 days 1 night trip sometime next week.(= So we decided to go on a short trip of 2 days and one night next week.)
• When we went out on the street at night and took a walk, the spring air was fresh. We felt refreshed. It was sweet .
• Seeing old friends again made me feel like I am very lucky to have good friends. (=It feels lucky to have good old friends. )
