MY BEST FRIEND

Hi everyone, my name is Lumpy. Molly is my best friend. She often stays at home with me in the evening, but today we are at Molly’s grandma’s house. There are a lot of birds in her grandma’s garden. They sing well. I can roll a ball, and Molly reads a book. Her grandma is making a cake because today is Molly’s birthday. We have an exciting birthday party. I love Molly and her family.

SAP2000 automatically create joints at structural object intersections or internal joints when meshing structural objects. Joint coordinates and information may be displayed on screen in the model window or in tabular format.

The frame element uses a general, three-dimensional, beam-column formulation which includes the effects of biaxial bending, torsion, axial deformation, and biaxial shear deformations. SAP2000 has a built-in library of standard concrete, steel and composite section properties of both US and International Standard sections

The solid element is an eight-node element for modeling three-dimensional structures and solids. It is based upon an isoparametric formulation that includes nine optional incompatible bending modes and is useful for modeling objects in which loading, boundary conditions, section properties, or reactions vary by thickness.

Hello, my dear friend.
Today you will paint a mysterious painting by Vincent van Gogh.
Olya, the artist, will lead you. Just follow the steps and create your own amazing painting.
To begin with, let’s see what supplies you need:
A4 watercolor paper sheet,
watercolors,
a thick paintbrush,
a pencil,
crayons,
a napkin (to remove extra water from the painting)
The major colours of the painting are blues and yellows. The minor colours are greens and browns.

Step 1
Pencil Sketch
1) We are going to start with a sketch and it’s gonna be very light.
Let’s begin with the line of the horizon. In the background we can see dark mountains there so try to repeat the line of the mountain tops.
2) And to the right there is another mountain range underneath the first line of the mountains. Let’s draw a couple of roly-poly hills and several bumps.
3) The “Starry Night” has a big massive Cyprus Tree in the foreground and it’s really wavy. It has the shape of a wavy flame, this tree is dreamlike, isn’t it?
4) It doesn’t need to be super-perfect. It just needs to give you some idea where to apply the paint.
5) Now let’s add the village and the little hills down the bottom. Let’s start with the little church and its spire. They don’t have to look exactly as in the original painting so you can use your creativity here and make the houses look as you’d like them to look.
6) The village shouldn’t be too detailed because it isn’t the focus of the painting. That’s why we are drawing just several houses and roofs with really simple shapes.
7) Now it’s time for the sky. Keep your pencil lines quite light for this. Let’s start off with the big swirl through the sky. This is the most unique feature of this painting.
8) Let’s draw the crescent moon in the top right and stars all over the sky.

Step 2
Crayons
9) Our next step is to cover everything with crayons. First, we take the white crayon and draw the swirl in the sky. Follow the shape and make short curved strokes. Add some white strokes around the big stars too.
It’s very important to press the crayon strong enough so it’ll be seen under the paint later.
10) Now take brown for the Cyprus tree. But don’t forget you are not trying to just colour it in you’re actually going in these short strokes following the shape.
11) You can also add some yellow and orange marks in the tree.
12) Let’s go back to the sky and make the stars. Use orange and yellow to put the stars and light around them. Do the same with the crescent moon.
13) Add a little bit of yellow strokes into the swirl in the sky and into the lower part of the sky.
14) Let’s draw some short strokes in the mountains with purple and indigo crayons. Hills and the village also go in dark blue colour. Color the roods and add some bushes nearby.
15) Use orange for the light in the windows, these are just some simple shapes.
16) Be more cautious than Olya and draw blue strokes all over the sky folowing the shapes of the curly swirl in the middle.

Step 3
Watercolors. Magic time
16) We start with yellow paint and add just a little bit of it around the moon and the stars.
17) Then we cover the whole sky with blue paint. Right over the crayons. And look at that! Isn’t it pure magic? The crayons are showed through the paint.
So even though you painted watercolor on top of the crayons, it still showed through. That’s called resist. The crayons resisted the watercolour away from it.
18) Use a darker shade of blue (ultramarine or indigo) to add at the top part of the sky.
19) This dark colour also goes to the lower part: mountains, village and everything around.
20) We need more paint in the roofs and houses to add contrast. Let’s do the same in the surrounding area. We can also darken the mountains.
21) The last step is to paint the Cyprus tree brown.
22) That’s a marvelous masterpiece!

I am 15 and I did my work experience at my uncle's shop. He is the shop manager and he has 5 employees working for him.
One of them was my supervisor , her name was Kate .She showed me how to stock up the shelves.
She also helped me to deal with angry customers.
I sold items such as dresses, jeans or shirts.
I quite enjoyed my week there and I am considering spending another week at the shop in the summer. The staff was very friendly with me , I may work in a shop like that later.

In SAP2000, grids can be defined as cartesian or cylindrical. There is no limit to the number of grid systems in a model and they can be rotated in any direction or placed at any origin within the model.Plan and elevation views are automatically generated at every grid line to allow for quick navigation of the model. Users can create their own elevation sections by using our Developed Elevation feature.

Last Sunday , I had a family lunch at my grandparents. My Granddad asked about my work placement at the bakery "The cake corner". I said: "It was more difficult than at school ! I got up at 5 am , took a bus at 5:45 and started at 6. It was from Tuesday to Sunday but Monday was a day off !
The manager was M. Bradfield , there were 5 employees , my supervisor was called William. In the bakery , hygiene was very strict. I had to change my white apron and cap every day.I often had to wash my hands.I worked from 6 to 2pm , for lunch it was good , I could choose a portion of quiche or pizza.When I arrived ,I prepared the dough for the bread with my supervisor's help , I peeled some fruit , I baked the cakes and I cleaned the tools oh , I also swept the bakery. It was hard job really ! I enjoyed this placement because I learnt new things and I feel more confident now but there was too much work and I wouldn't like to be a baker later because I hate waking up so early !!!
