Hi I’m Takaya, founder of Rights Network.

We started Rights Network in 2009 and we are the company that try to make all contents free.

What I meant by contents are videos on the internet, movies on the television, web services, software, apps and so on.

How can we make them free?

We provide them to internet users for free by requiring that they install our advertising app and that we will share the sales of advertising between us and content holders.

Our users can enjoy those contents freely, and our partners the contents holder, earn money via our advertising app, and advertiser can place their ad in one of the most cost effective ways.

Note that we never send users electronic images.

We believe it is an ideal situation for all.

But many people feel a sense of negativity towards the word of “adware”.

Yes, we know that, and we had considered that.

Why do people hate adware so much despite liking free products?

There are some reasons that we’ve discovered.

The first is that some adware seems spammy and people think it is likely to haunt them for the rest of their PC’s life.

Is that true? Yes, I know some aggravated adware is hard to remove from PC’s.

But our advertising app is very easy to remove from your PC with just one click.

I changed some minor grammar mistakes on the fly while talking.

I think people are just used to getting free apps without advertising. Some venture-backed companies provide free services and don't turn a profit on the assumption that if they build a large user base, they can make money off of them in the future. A lot of people are used to this model so they expect things to be free. That's been changing recently I think though.

And of course some people choose piracy over spending money too.
