I live in Texas and I have friends in Louisiana. I'm not black, and I don't have a Southern accent, but I let a little Louisiana slip into my recording... an educated black woman from New Orleans might have something like my intonation here. I also remember hearing Maya Angelou read her poetry once. I hope I did a better job for you :)
