Quite slow, please, that would be very much appreciated ! Have a lovely day !
Mohamed Farah was born in Mogadishu, Somalia, in 1983. He moved to Londonat the age of 8 because his father was working in London.
When he arrived in London, Mo didn’t speak English and he had to learn quickly in order to integrate in his new school, Feltham Community College in London. His Physical Education teacher gave him a lot of support. He saw that Mo was a talented runner, and he helped to coach him.
Mo started doing well in competitions from the age of 13. When he was 14, he won an English school title. When he was 18, he won the 5,000m title at the European Athletics Junior Championship in 2001.
Mo started to train with a group of Kenyan runners, and lived a very disciplined life, which consisted of eating, training and resting.
Mo had to face some disappointments in his career. For example, in 2007, he only finished in sixth place in the Osaka World Championships. However, Mo continued to work hard and went to train at high altitudes in Kenya and Ethiopia in 2008.
In 2009, he won a gold medal at the European Indoor Championships. The following year, Mo married his girlfriend, Tania Nell.
Over the next few years, he continued to win more medals, including a gold medal at the 2011 World Championships in South Korea.
Finally, Mo had the chance to show that he was one of the best athletes in the world, at the London Olympics, in 2012. He achieved an incredible double victory as he won gold medal for both the 5,000 and 10,000 metres events. He received massive public support for his achievements.
Shortly after the Olympic Games Mo and Tania became the parents of twin daughters.
I'm a little out of practice but hope this is helpful.
