English Audio Request

Note to recorder:

Natural speed please.

I'm using Rhinospike by iPhone. If anybody knows how to record by iPhone, I'll appreciate.

Thank you.

Vowels are classified by combining the close-open dimension, the
front-back dimension, and the rounded-unrounded dimension.  The first
two dimensions concern where the highest point of the tongue is, and
the third dimension concerns whether or not the lips are rounded.
Along the close-open dimension, there are close vowels, close-mid
vowels, open-mid vowels, and open vowels. (Close vowels are also
called high vowels, and open vowels are also called low vowels.) Along
the front-back dimension, there are front vowels, central vowels, and
back vowels. Along the rounded-unrounded dimension, there are rounded
vowels and unrounded vowels.

re: iPhone

All you need is an app on your iPhone that can record and save to an .mp3 file. Once you have an mp3 on your iPhone, you can upload it to RhinoSpike.

Overview

You can use our built-in RhinoRecorder to record from within your browser, or you may also use the form to upload an audio file for this Audio Request.

Don't have audio recording software? We recommend Audacity. It's free and easy to use.
