The creation of the tragedy is quite remarkable. We own merit and glory to the Greeks. There is indeed something fascinating about the success achieved by this particular genre.
Tragedies are still written, nowadays; twenty five centuries later. They are written almost all over the world. However, what is most amazing is that, periodically, writers look to Greek themes and characters, that is, they still write about the Electras and the Antigones.
