How am I learning English?
I read and listen to the language every day. I try to read at least 10 books in English every year. I always watch movies and TV shows in English. When I am unable to understand some accent and I need to use subtitles I use subtitles in English.
In the last two years, when I study mathematics, I have been taking notes in English. I am writing my thesis in English. Sometimes when I notice that some of my sentences are strange, I try to find examples written by a native speaker and I use the examples as a model.
I usually don't have many opportunities to speak in English here in Brazil. But every time a find someone willing to speak with me I try to practice as much as possible.
I believe that if I am giving the opportunity to go to T. University that I will not only improve my research skills, but I will also get the opportunity I need practice speaking English.
