Hollywood is famous for its film and television studios. On the list of things to see are the Walk of Fame, the Chinese Theatre with its famous hand and footprints in its cement courtyard, and the Kodak Theatre where the Oscar ceremony is held each year.
The Walk of Fame
Today more than 2,400 celebrities have their pink star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on Hollywood Boulevard : actors, actresses, musicians, directors, producers, television and radio personalities. But Mickey Mouse and the Simpsons also have their own stars.
Famous studios
Los Angeles is famous for its studios, like Twentieth Century Fox, Paramount and Universal Studios. In Hollywood, you can tour Universal Studios and visit famous sets, like the sets of Pirates of the Caribbean or Jurassic Park.
Universal studios is a working studio, where movies are shot every day. So, if you're lucky, you can meet a famous stuntman or a famous star there !
