We have a celebrity on the island : an incredible woman whose name is Grace O’Malley. But you won’t be able to meet her. She was the first Irish woman who became a pirate. It was in 1542.
I’ll show you the place where she lived. This is Grace’s castle.
Where is her treasure ? Nobody knows.
If you come in May or June, we will search for Grace’s treasure and we will have a great time at the festival.
