Hey. I teach English in France and to keep my students motivated, I'm actually working with them on TV shows, and especially Survivor. We working on qualities required be a perfect candidate, skills you must have this kind of things. In a few weeks from now, I'll ask them to pretend they want to join the next survivor season, to tell the rest of the class why they must be on the show and to be as convincing as possible.
Before reaching this step, I'd like to make them listen to 'candidates' introducing themselves and explaining why they are the best. I got scripts ready, and I'll submit two of them to you guys . I have planned to work with two separate groups listening to 2 different candidates,and after having listened to the castings, I'll ask them to choose the best and explain why. Below is script number one
For the first script, I need a WOMAN'S voice. If the person recording this script could try and sound like a really motivated candidate that would be awesome . It would make my students believe they're listening to a real 'casting' and keep them motivated. But I'm also okay with anyone recording it without acting, if you're not into the 'Survivor' mood' :-) . It can be recorded at natural speed.

Hi, my name is Sally Rogers but you can call me Supergirl. That’s what my friends call me. I’m the candidate you need for the next Survivor season.
Let me tell you a bit about myself .
I’m quite sociable, caring and very easy-going. I can make friends easily and I really enjoy meeting new people. I think I’m a really nice person. I’m not really the ‘manipulative type. Oh, and one very important thing : I’ve always been really sporty. I’m good at swimming, rock-climbing, I’m crazy about bungee jumping and I really enjoy going jogging at week ends. I’m physically and mentally strong so I’m ready to meet any challenges you could think of !
Another reason why you must choose me. I can be really useful on the camp . I must admit I’m not really good at fishing but I can practice archery and build shelters very well. I’m not afraid of insects, snakes and spiders consequently I can be the one sent into the forest to get some water or find some food, for example.
