Hey, I'm working with my French students on a detective stories. I had some stories ready to use in the books I use but I would like to create one of my own, hence my audio request. There will be three suspects in this story , this is the first one.
My students have been learning english for only 3 years so if the person recording this could slow down a little while trying to remain natural :-). Many thanks
Sorry,Detective, but I'm not the one you're looking for. Yesterday, at 8, I was hanging out with some of my friends downtown . We went shopping, had lunch together , the kind of things friends do, you know. I bought a few things for my husband: a scarf and a new pair of sunglasses. Check the receipt. You'll see I'm not lying. And you can also call my friends, I gave the number to his officer over there. They'll tell you the exact same story.
