Beginning a New Blogging Journey
I realized today that practicing what I preach is more important than ever. Every day its my job to tell companies that its wildly important to have fresh unique content on their sites, whether it be in the form of a blog, news articles, whitepapers - but to date, I have completely neglected my blog as my own way to communicate with these individuals and the world at large.
The information driven world has overwhelmed me... with rollouts of such things as Google+, industry groups on LinkedIn and the proliferation of discussions there, not to mention the constant need to Retweet and Like; I've been trying to conceptualize a way to keep that all under control and have it work in my favor.
My goal, and I'm putting this in writing on purpose, is to have at least two blog posts a week. One being related to the content marketing industry, and another related to my experience of daily life. This one doesn't count. Luckily enough for me, public transportation is my mainstay and I have a smartphone. Let the content creation begin!
