How to have an healthy food?

Eat a wide variety of food
Eat regular meals and snack such as, three moderatly size meals and three small snacks
Eat meals on time and don’t skip it
Include carbohydrate food in each meals and snacks (cereals, pasta, rice, fruit and vegetables)
Avoid foods and drinks containing large amounts of sugar
Use low fat cooking methods ans chose low fat products
Drink plenty of water

Insulin :
Insulin is a hormone produced by a gland called the pancreas. It enables glucose in the blood to enter body cells where it can be used for energy.
Five types of insulin are available and the patient and his doctor will discuss which is right for him.
The Daily injections process will become routine.
The patient should also regularly monitor his blood glucose and records his result.
Self blood glucose testing is a method of measuring how much sugar is in your blood. It is done by using a drop of blood from a finger.
The blood is applied to a test strip, which is read by a blood glucose lachine.
Testing for glucose in the urine is not as accurate as testing the blood.

Tablets :
For people with type 2 diabetes (Not suitable for type 1 and gestational diabetes)
 If healthy eating and regular exercise does not reduce blood sugar

5 Groups :
- Sulfonylureas
- Biguanide
- Meglitinides
- Thiazolinediones
- Alpha-glucosidase inhibitors
- DPP-4 inhibitors
