He was born into the Greek and Danish royal families.

Philip married Elizabeth in 1947 and they had 4 children together.
He was a great support to his wife during her 70 years as Queen.
He was known for his good sense of humour and his jokes.
He had the title of the Duke of Edinburgh.
He was also famous for the Duke of Edinburgh awards scheme, which encouraged young people to improve their health and community spirit.
When addressing a member of the royal family like the Duke of Edinburgh aka Prince Philip, you should address them as Your Royal Highness.
