2. Do you think fast food or restaurant food is the main cause of childhood obesity? What care the side effects of eating unhealthy food? Is it a good/right idea for the government to regulate health in society, for example banning soda in schools, not showing sugary cereal commercials during cartoons etc.?

According to my opinion, it really depends on the culture where one lives. Perhaps in the State or other countries which have carbohydrates as their main food, fast food could be the first reason for obesity in society. Although I don't think that's a big deal in Asian countries. As for Asian countries' taste, Fast food rarely is first in mind when it comes to their favorite food. Even it is I bet they couldn't eat as much of it like Americans could, because they would easily feel nauseated since the taste of it is not usual to an Indonesian's pallet . For example like mayonnaise, most Indonesians usually don't get along with mayonnaise, which in fact contains loads of fat in it. Moreover the price of fast food isn't cheap here.
About Restaurant food, again I like to see this issue from an Asian's perspective, particularly an Indonesian. Myself I found out that most Indonesians doesn't really eat that much in restaurants.I guess it's because the culture here that people inclined to feel say if others look at them with a Super big portion of food.

So what I feel is the main reason that makes Indonesian gain extra weight is their habit to eat so much till they can't breath. Whereas especially for girls, are their snacks. Some snacks contain a lot of sugar and fat in it. Although I also have the Idea that often times it's not just how much portion we have daily that can make us overweight, instead the lack of activity that we do. I have a friend who is able to eat soooo many things, then after having a big portion of meal, she still can eat some snacks. Nonetheless she still has a good figure though. It's because she's really active and can't stop for anything during the day. Well, The genetic factor could be the reason too.

The idea that government regulates health in society, sounds good. I like the idea about banning soda in school and not showing sugar cereal commercials during cartoon times. What is more important is the involvement of the society especially the family and parents to teach their family members how to live healthy. However kids are just kids and it's sad to imagine a child can't eat anything sweet at all. Instead of banning everything delicious for our kids, it's better to teach them portion control. Also how much they should sacrifice in case they want more. For example they should exercise more etc.
