The cost on learning the celestial body and phenomena are too high. It is often considered of great value and the government pay out large sum of money for this study. However, as far as I am concerned, the government needs to focus more into diminishing the level of poverty and natural catastrophe in the world.
Firstly, poverty is the root cause of increased crime rates in countries. It is necessary to eradicate this issue in order to obtain a harmony in the nations. Most of the times, the people become criminal to meet their requirements and end up committing scenes against the law of country. Thus, establishing various policies on poor people by the government needs to be emphasized, and this will be enabling them to meet their daily needs. To illustrate it, in India, the Aganawadi schemes approved by the authority specially to poor people, for delivering essential needs such as rice, pulses, oil and flours are helping them to get their regular requirements.
Secondly, the natural disasters has been causing adversity to the people annually. Owing to this, they suffered from huge loss of properties and their loved ones. So, it is mandatory for the government to take the crucial steps like building proper damp to prevent flood, imposing high taxes on cars to prevent air pollution and conducting meetings to create more awareness on environmental crisis. For example, recent study done by the environmentalist has found that by 2050, if the global warming keeps rising, the iceberg will melt down completely and floods will occur in every parts of the world.
To sum up, the government would be spending more money on reducing the level of poverty and natural disaster, those are the most important aspects affecting the lives of people constantly. Nevertheless, exploring the space is also essential but that should not be prioritized.
