(July 5, 2012) On a Gloomy Day/ In the Cloudy Morning
It`s a cloudy day./(It`s a gloomy day.)
These days, the air has been hot and humid.
Today I don`t need go out hurriedly.
(=Today I don`t need go out in a hurry. )
(=Today I don`t need to rush.)
I`m here at home free, but I have to go out in the afternoon.
Oh, in fact there are many things to do before going out, but I just didn't start (doing )anything yet.
I have to turn on the washing machine, clean the house, and, and, and more, ...
For the past three days, I went to teach 3rd grade elementary students, because their teacher had to take a rest.
This is because their teacher is pregnant, and according to the doctor she should be especially careful in the early stages.
Especially, she has been waiting for a long time to have a baby.
After the long wait/waiting, she finally could have her precious baby, however she needs keep on being careful for ten months till she can finally hug her own baby.
I feel that in the modern society,
we have so many things that were insufficient in the past, and we need to become more careful.
Maybe these are influenced by environmental change as well.
As we are becoming more distant from nature, our body also becomes distant from its natural health condition.

<흐린 날 오전>
구름이 가득하고 흐린 날이다.요즘은 공기도 눅눅하고 덥고 습하다.
오늘은 급히 서둘러 나갈 일이 없고, 오후에만 나가면 된다.사실, 해야 할 일들이 잔뜩 기다리고 있지만, 그냥 내가 안 하고 있을 뿐이다.세탁기도 돌리고, 집안 청소도 하고, 그리고..그리고...그리고 또...
지난 사흘간은 초등학교 3학년을 가르쳤다.
왜냐하면 그 반 담임 선생님이 임신을 해서 잠시 쉬셔야 했기 때문이다.의사 선생님 말로는 임신 초기에 특히 조심해야 한다고 한다. 더군다나 그 선생님은 아주 오랜시간동안 아기를 기다려 왔다.
긴 가다림 끝에 마침내 소중한 아가를 갖게 되었으니, 아가를 직접 품에 안을 수 있을 때까지, 열달을 더욱 조심하면서 기다려야 한다.
과거에는 평범하고 대수롭지 않게 보았던 많은 일들이, 오늘날 현대에 와서 정말 조심해야 할 것들이 많아졌다.
아마 이런 모든 것들이 현대 사회의 환경 변화에 따른 영향이라 여긴다.
우리들이 자연에서 멀어질수록 우리 몸도 건강도 자연에서 멀어지고 있는 듯하다.
