Have you ever heard of indoor football or five-a-side football? It's played in almost all countries in the world. The top three countries are Italy, Spain and Brazil. Countries such as Thailand, Malaysia and Singapore are in the top thirty. England is in the sixty-sixth place.
There are five players in a team but they can change players at any time during the game. Each side can have seven players on the bench, waiting to come into the game. Each game has two halves. Each half lasts twenty minutes with a fifteen-minute break at half-time. The team which scores the most goals wins the game.
The game is played inside a building with a roof so weather is not a problem. The playing area is not always the same size. The smallest area is fifteen meters by twenty-five meters. The largest is twenty-five meters by forty-two meters.
