Jess : Hi, please have a sit. So, I heard you are interested in becoming our new roommate?
R : Yes, I read your ad in the newspaper, I really liked it. I would like to move in as soon as possible.
Jess: Oh thank you. Yes, this apartment is big and bright and it’s very cozy. But first I need to ask you some questions.
R : Oh , yes, no problem.
Jess : Well first, what kind of roommate are you looking for ?
R : I’m looking for friendly roommates, sociable and tidy.
Jess : Ok that’s good. How often do you clean?
R : I vacuum once a week, and I do the dishes every time after I cook.
Jess : Do you like cooking as well ?
R : Yes, especially Mexican food.
Jess : That’s nice to hear. We love cooking here too.
R : So, do you have roommates ?
Jess : Yes, I have two roommates. They are a lot of fun! And, tell me more about yourself, your job for example, what do you do for a living?
R : I have a new job, I work at the bank, near Central Park. So your apartment is very convenient, it’s only 2 minutes walk from my work !
Jess : I see, indeed ! Ok, one last question before I make a decision. Do you smoke?
R : I used to, when I was younger at the university. But I quit, so no, I don’t smoke it won’t be a problem.
Jess : Well, I really enjoyed our meeting, I think you are a perfect candidate. I will need to discuss it with my roommates, and I’ll let you know as soon as possible.
