Hi there. The following text is from an ESL textbook, which was not written by native speakers of English, so I think there remain several phrases which sound not natural to you. If so, please feel free to alter them.
My students are in their 4th grade, so please help me make two separate recordings for the text – one at your normal/natural speed, and the other at your slow speed.
I think the recording with your normal speed will be useful to their listening practice because it will be challenging enough, and hopefully they will not be bored! Meanwhile, the recording with your slow one will help them differentiate different sounds, and thereby enable them to copy your pronunciation.

The puppy is my favourite pet. His name is Lumpy. He always plays with the pen in my bedroom. He likes to eat meat, so he eats it very quickly. Every morning, my brother and I put Lumpy in his cage before we go to school. We have to put him there when we go out because he often sleeps on the bed, or on the sofa. Sometimes, he goes to the kitchen and takes food from the cupboard. Lumpy is very naughty, but I love him very much. After school, I usually walk slowly with him in the garden.
