Hello. This text is not written by English-speaking writers, so I guess there remain some phrases which sound not natural to you. If so, please help me change them.
My 10-year-old students are in their 4th grade, so could you please help me make two separate recordings - one at your normal/natural speed, and the other at your slow speed? Thank you in advance. :)
Tomorrow is my dad’s birthday. I will make a birthday card for him. First, I will cut a rectangle of the card and fold it in half. Second, I will draw a picture of my family on the card. Last, I will write “Happy Birthday, Daddy!” on the card. My mum wants to give him a present, so she will make a birthday cake and cook a lot of food for dad’s birthday party. “I will invite a lot of friends tomorrow,” Daddy said. My dad will be glad. I hope so.
Hi Diane. Your recording is so lively as if a real daughter tells about the plan for her dad's birthday. And your change is very useful because my students will have a chance to hear both the full form of "I will" and its contraction. Thank you so much!!!
