Note to recorder:

Please read some lines from a picked-up article with natural speed to me please. Whether it is American accent or English one, you're more than welcome

Now, I’m going to get into a little rant about the “courses” offered on these sites below, but at the end of the day they are free. No matter what setbacks they may have, you can’t really complain too much when it has a 0 price tag associated with it. The reason I will is simply because too many people might think these sites are better than what they are. To be totally honest, I’m surprised at how much Livemocha in particular was recommended to me after using it myself.

Although there are certain paid aspects of the courses, I simply cannot personally recommend these paid versions with a straight face because of how little the free versions managed to inspire me. But the free versions can be very useful when you are starting off.

I'm overwhelmingly thankful for your support to my language acquisition, mrspalac!

I was taken aback at the very beginning when I was hearing your voice.

I consider myself as a language lover in its all sense, you know, language is not just a tool for communication, if it is, people are looking down on it, language is just output of a combination of things united: mindset, culture, prior-knowledge, psychological factors, attitude, body & soul...I'm so identified with the world of polyglot where those who speak more than 10 languages gather here to tell their story.

I can't tell if my language acquistion is good, but to a certain extent, I could somehow manipulate my words to convey ideas and thoughts in a relatively smooth manner, but it rings true with my writing skill, when it comes to speaking, it's another story.

That's the reason why I join rhinospike to long for native speakers' assistance to the journey of mine. It's not just the path of language acquisition, because I do believe in a saying that goes: him "he who learns another language acquires another soul". With a decent amount of passion, self-discipline & dedication to languages and added valuable journeys throughout the world that go helping to bring them to higher levels of consciouness.
