Today is Saturday June 26, 2010. It is 4:30 in the morning, and it is the eleventh day that I am writing in my diary. Just a note: this is from the previous day, Friday June 25.
Well, yesterday I got up at 1:30p.m which is 1,5 hour earlier than I got up the day before. Then I looked out of the window in my room and I saw my housemate lifting weights outside. I must always laugh when I see him lifting weights. He always dais it incorrectly. I used to go to the gym quite often in the past and I know how to lift weights in a right way since a lot of musclebuilders has given me some advice about it. I tried to give an advice to my housemate too, but he did not care. So thats why I must laugh at him when I am seeing him to lifth the weights. However, he is good, because he exercises - he even do the skipping rope which is good for fitness. I should do it too. I mean, going to the gym was my hobby, I liked it very much, but ever since I started loving learning languages, I have been focusing on it and not on going to the gym. Sure, it is seen on my body. Because my body used to look really great - my muscle, my body, but now? It is not really good now, but I dont care. I just want to work on languages, because as I said before, I will get back to my country in a few months and who knows what it will be then.
Anyway, at 2p.m. I started to write my German note in my diary. It took quite long time then I wrote it - maybe 70 minutes. My vocabulary in German is not really good and I must pick a lot of words in my dictionary. When I writy my English note in my diary, I dont have to look up any word, so it does not take so long to write it. I mean, not every word I know, for example, today I was not sure how to say the phrase "lift weights" or "skipping rope", because I havent used it before. That's why I love this writing - I can really practise phrases which I really dont hear a lot. If I dont hear some words a lot, I cant rememeber them. It is about repetition as I mentioned several times. So, thanks to this method of learning, I can practise everyday common and even uncommon words and phrases. I will recommend it to all my friends who have problem with learning languages. You know what, my diary, I have been doing it with my German for 6 days and I have already improved my German a lot ever since.
Anyway, yesterday I should have gone to university because I made an appointment with my English teacher. However I was so lazy that I did not go there. I dont think that I missed something, because I did a lot of work at my home instead. I mean, conversations with him are great, but it takes long time to go there and then to get back. I spend only something about 1.5 hour with walking. It seems to me like a waste of time, because I can do something else instead. It was really ealy for me anyway. He wanted me to come at 2:15p.m, so it means to get up at 12:45p.m at least in order to eat and prepare myself.
But anyway, at 5p.m. I had a group conversation with Harry and with Russian girl Rassana. It was a special type of conversation. Harry chose some pictures and we should have discribed the pictures. I found that I have sometimes problem with it. I wanted to do it because it is a good skill to practise. When you want to pass some English certificate, there will always be a description of something.
Anyway, at 8:15p.m. I had a German conversation with Reinhard. It took over 80 minutes, so it was quite long. I wrote a note in my diary about routine stuff and what I did the day before yesterday and I read it to him, so I practised even my German pronunciation. As we went though the text, he corrected the text and tried to explained what kind of mistakes I made. After the conversation he sent me a conversation report with the correct version and he even recorded the text, so I can listen to the text now - GREAT! I really like his conversations. At the end of conversation, I arranged with him to have next conversation on Monday.
Well, yesterday it was a good day for my learning languages. I did a lot of things for German as well as for English. I am really looking forward to next statistics about learning in order to compare them with the previous week.
I must say that it took approximately something over 30 minutes to write this note in my diary and as I said, I used my dictionary only for the two phrases that I mentioned before.
Well, that’s everything for today. Goodbye, see you tomorrow!

I took the liberty of suggesting a few corrections and lots of other changes that are just to make it sound more natural and this is the version that I'll record. Hope you find it useful.
