Today is Friday June 25, 2010. It is 4:30 in the morning, and it is the tenth day that I am writing in my diary. Just a note: this is from the previous day, Thursday June 24.
Well, yesterday I got up at 2:30 which is later in comparison with the previous days. Then I started to write a German text in my diary. I decided to write it always after I get up and to write an English text always before I go to bed. It is good beginning and ending of each day. I wrote quite a lot of words in the German note - 242 words. My daily target is to write 100 words at least, but I am trying to do my best and writing more and more. Yesterday, I listened to German podcasts for 2 hours and I even made a file in EXCEL for writing down my daily fulfilment. I started doing it with my English approximately a week ago and with German just yesterday. In English I write down listening, reading, speaking, watching (movies, series) and writing. In German I write down only listening, reading and writing. I dont watch any series or movies in German because I would not understand anyway. I have to learn German for some time to be able to watch something. The same is with speaking. I must say that I have already had two conversations with an Austian tutor, but we spoke English, anyway. It was based on explanations of some German grammar rules. I am sure, that I will be able to start speaking a bit in a month.
Anyway, today I had a lunch at 5p.m. I heat chips and fish fingers in the oven and then I put brown sauce on the chips. It was really delicious a quite cheap meal. I made a dinner at 11 in the evening. Kind of late, I know, but everything is different in my case, since I go to bed at 6 o'clock in the morning and wake up in the afternoon. I made foggy breads for my dinner. I always take a slice of bread and coat it in an egg.
As for my conversations yesterday, I had two conversations. The first one was with a French guy. He is 63 years old and he learns English. It is always pleasure talking to him, but sometimes I have a problem to understand him beceause of his French accent. We spoke approximately for 20 minutes and then he said that he had to go in order to make meal for his children because his wife was busy with something.
10 minutes after we finished the conversation, my next conversation started. It was a conversation with Helen who I have already mentioned several times in my diary. It was a group conversation and there was even a Canadian woman. Helen picked a topic about introverts and extroverts. I really like talking about psychology. Helen has some knowledge about psychology and she said that introverts and extroverts dont like each other. There was a question what kind of people are on "LingQ system" and on the Internet.
Well, today was not anything interesting. As for the evaluation of the day. I focused on English as well as German. I am satisfied with I did, but it could be better. I wish eeach day was longer. Then I could catch much more things.
Well, that’s everything for today. Goodbye, see you tomorrow!
