I was waiting in jail when someone tried to kill Elizabeth. I was praying and writing letters all day long.
Queen Elizabeth I put me in jail. She thought I was plotting to become Queen of England. I had lost my throne in Scotland. I was asking her help to get back my crown in Scotland when I came to England.
Even if I have a motive, I was not even present so I could not have tried to kill Elizabeth.
There is some doubt, but her accent was probably Scottish (not like mine), although her primary language was French.
