Duck truck
When you’re in London you can see an unusual and brightly coloured transport travelling around the city centre. It is called “duck” which is a “passenger truck” going both by water and land. A duck tour is a nice way to enjoy the sights of central London such as Big Ben, the London Eye and Westminster Abbey from the water.
Jeepney
The Jeepney is called “the king of the road” in the Philippines. These coloured vehicles are the gifts from American troops. Nowadays, brightly decorated jeepneys are a symbol of Philippine culture and very popular way of travelling around in the country.
Dog Sled
Those people who like travelling over ice and snow can try dog sledding. In Eastern Russia, Northern Norway, Canada and Alaska it’s a special way to travel both for locals and tourists. Dog sledding isn’t quite comfortable but it gives you a great possibility to enjoy wonderful winter landscapes. By the way, racing dog sleds is a popular sport which a lot of people love watching or taking part in.
Suspended monorail
Tram above your head is an exciting sight in the German City of Wuppertal. Suspended monorail is one of the city’s greatest attractions and an important means of transport. More than 25 million citizens use the monorail every year. The idea of floating trams is not a new one but this kind of transportation is really reliable.
Bamboo train
Those people who enjoy everything exotic may want to ride a bamboo train in Cambodia. Passengers travel without any comfort sitting on a bamboo platform. However, this type of transport is really popular with Cambodians as it is cheap and goes regularly.
