For my work placement I decided to go abroad. I wanted to discover another culture and to improve my linguistics and professional skills. I had the opportunity of doing my work experience at Century 21 in Dublin ,Ireland from May 17th to May 31st.
Century 21 is an estate agent which employs 15 people in Dublin. The company is present on the international market : the UK , France , Italy , the US ... The offices are located in Harcourt Street in the town centre of Dublin.
My tutor was Victoria Wall. I was expected to fulfill an8-hour working day and I was given a 10-minute rest break mid-morning and another mid-afternoon.
I had to wear smart casual clothes. Jeans were permitted on Fridays only.
During my work placement I carried out various activities, I answered the phone , I updated files , I entered invoices in the accounting software and I made payments.
Dealing with customers was the most difficult for me : I remember that one day I was scanning documents when a customer came in: he was angry because he didn't receive the documents concerning the house he had just bought. He needed the documents for the insurance company. I managed to keep him waiting till my tutor arrived.
I really enjoyed my work placement because I improved my self-confidence, the staff was helpful and understanding. It was a way to discover the working world and it encouraged me to take responsibility.
I really want to work abroad later and to go on improving my English .

I thought mentor sounded better than tutor. Also, you might want to say Century 21 is a real estate agency. Hope this helped.
