Hi, I would be happy if somebody could record this for my students :)
(Two different voices if possible, without mentioning "manager" and "candidate" of course)
Natural speed, not too fast, please!
Feel free to correct the mistakes if they are any, but I really need the verbs as they are (present perfect, present perfect continuous and the conditional).
Manager: Hello, come in, please sit down!
Candidate: Hi thank you, what a lovely summer camp!
Manager: Thank you, so... which job are you applying for?
Candidate: I'm applying for the job as an activity leader.
Manager: Okay... erm, can you tell me a little bit about yourself?
Candidate: Sure I ... well, my name is Josh I live near the camp. I'm studying law at the moment, I'm a very caring, protective person, but I'm also very dynamic. I have a good sense of humor and I love entertaining people.
Manager: Have you ever worked before?
Candidate: Yes I have, I've worked as a waiter in a café, but you know, serving coffee isn't as fun as working with children.
Manager: And, have you ever worked with children?
Candidate: No I haven't, not officially I mean, well ... I have always taken care of my two little brothers. I love outdoor activities and I really enjoy creating games and challenges for my brothers and cousins outside. I know how to entertain children and protect them. I have a first-aid certificate.
Manager: How long have you been creating challenges for them?
Candidate: I have been creating challenges for about five years now. There are tons of games I can make them play, I could put them in a book. Children never get bored with me.
Manager: So, what would you do if you worked for us?
Candidate: If I worked for you, I would put a smile on the children's faces every day. I would teach them about the dangers of the forest, of the lake. They would really be happy to have me as their activity leader I think.
Manager: Well, thank you for coming, we'll let you know about our decision very soon!
Candidate: Thank you for having me for the interview!
You wouldn't say that you would make someone play games - you would play games with them.
