American English, please.
Natural speed like you are talking about it to someone, please, if possible.
Several months ago I started putting my life in order by considering what I did and didn't need. I consider not only things, but some of the lessons I've learned, groups I belong to, and people who I relate with as well.
Since meeting certain people, mostly from some other Asian countries, who knew how they were living in Japan, I often recall the saying, "simple is best." They were smart enough to live a simple material life, but to nurture a rich spiritual one. I learned a lot from them.
As I was living through the boom of the Japanese economy, it was natural that we were surrounded by abundance. In my case, I notice that I have more than enough things at home.
It's been a year since the new Japanese word, "dan-sha-ri" was coined and came to be a hot topic. It's telling that many of us have started to consider living simpler lives. It certainly rang a bell with me. cf:断捨離
Yesterday, I decided to inform my Aussie teacher that I would not go to an English chat room that he runs any more. Although It was a good opportunity to converse in English once a week, I never really enjoyed it.
I'm getting the idea that I will do things that I really enjoy from this moment on! I want to live a life filled with lots of laughter and new encounters!!!
Smiles:)(^^)
Minor correction: It's time to enjoy life!
