DO THE AMISH KIDS GO TO SCHOOL ?
Yes they do . Amish kids go to school from 7 to 14 years old . In each Amish village there is 1 Amish school with just one classroom so the kids from 7 to 14 are all mixed . Their teacher is always an Amish woman. At school they study English and German but also reading , writing and Maths. Girls and boys are also prepared for their future adult life : girls are taught how to clean the house, how to cook , how to quilt for example and boys are taught how to be good farmers for instance .
After school they do their homework and they help their parents. They go to school 8 months a year and the rest of the time they help their parents on the farm or in the house.

The Amish kids (This refers to some specific children) vs. Amish kids (Amish children in general)

maths (UK) vs. math (US)

In English, we never place spaces before punctuation marks (; : ! ? .)
