Why do the hands of a clock turn right?
In ancient times, people made sundials. They looked at them and knew the time of the day.
If you look to the south, the sun moves across the sky from left to right. With the movement of the sun, the shadow of the rod turns right on the sundial face.
Later, people invented mechanical clocks with hands. The hands of those clocks turned right, like the sundial shadow.
