Comic Relief is a British charity that helps a lot of people such as people without any food, clothes, family, water or homes in Africa and in the United Kingdom.
In order to help these people, they organize three main activities:
The first is a Red Nose Day. It takes place every year in March. The reason for the name “Red Nose Day” is because people in the UK buy and wear red noses to raise money for charity.
Also, Comic Relief has a television show where many celebrities do something funny to raise money and to encourage the public to phone and donate money.
Finally, Many schools and companies also get involved by making and selling cakes, wearing funny clothes, selling things they do not need, singing or dancing.
