I was fishing with my father. We were listening to the radio.
"Here is a weather report. A typhoon is coming. All small boats must return to shore now."
My father said, "We must go home now, Tony. Your mother will be worried."
We sailed towards the beach. The waves were already very big and I felt a little afraid. When we got to the beach the sky was very dark and it was raining.
"Hurry! my father called out. We ran to the house. My mother was happy to see us.
There was no electricity, so we sat in the dark and listened to the storm. We ate cold rice and vegetables. I couldn't sleep because the wind was very noisy.
In the morning, we found a coconut tree had fallen on our boat. There was big hole at the back. I felt angry but my father said we were lucky because some people had lost the roof of their house!
