we can help a great deal with these school districts over here and help them turn the corner

"Ray" said the other day ...
First I got inspired by the Steve Jobs, the book on him that was written by Walter Isaacson the co-founder of Apple and I guess what really hit me in that book is how fast things have changed. You live through it, but you don't realize it. You read back on it and I thought, well you know the world's moving toward a digital library. We could do that for a lot less expense. I already said the other day, you know there's fifteen thousand libraries are you sure you know what the hell you're doing because none of them are doing it? We believe we know what we're doing. And now people can come out here, get on one of the best computers ever made. The iPads here, the laptops here, check out a ebook reader, and take it home with you that will download the book for you. We've got ten thousand books. We've got the budget for ten thousand more as we see what people want, a gather place, a place to study, a place for seminars, a place for children, a place to relax. We want them to enter the digital word. I had refused to read an e-book because I have a collection fo probably twelve hundred now first edition books and you know I just didn't want to do it. My wife read them, but I said you know what, I'm way behind what I ought to be doing. So I've now read three books. Let me tell you, it's a lot easier to read. We think we're gonna help on the education component of kids over here. As you know, we're in an area that's ninety two percent Hispanic. Eighty eight percent are below the average wage. Minorities are more dependent on the library than Anglos or the guys with money, so we really believe we can help a great deal with these school districts over here and help them turn the corner and get these kids really in-tuned to reading, into the research that can be done. Just a different world. We came here purposely because we knew this was the part of the city that was in that digital divide and was on the wrong side of it. We believe some seventy five percent of homes out here do not even have an internet connection in their home. We estimate that other reports have estimated about fifty percent of the citizens of San Antonio do not have an internet connection in their home. Big, big detriment to learning. Big, big deficit on information that you can get. So, we think we're going to fill that void and we hope that we can make a difference.
Judge Wolff has quite a Texan accent and I've managed to get most of what he says except for 4 short segments :
00'20" to 00'22" "well, you know the world ---------------------------digital library "
00'26" "I ----------------------------------- the other day"
01'04" " I ----------------------- refused to read an e-book"
01'45" "we can help a great deal -----------------------------------------over here and help them turn the corner"
Your help to fill in the blanks will be greatly appreciated :))) Thanks in advance
