Hi my name is Sarah Kacey and I’m from Western Australia in Perth and I’m an intern at Tradedoubler UK.
I chose London because of the atmosphere that you get in London is, so much different than anywhere else in the world, er, and you can also speak the language, so that’s also a bonus. Um, I love the nightlife here, the social life and the working life exposes you to situations that you wouldn't have normally been presented with in other countries.
On a daily basis I gather and analyse data on our clients and present to my managers. And I also analyse information on competitors um, through websites and DAX? Code sites. Um, this gives me an indication of, er, how effective the market is and how good, er, Tradedoubler is against other people. Um. And it also shows that I conducted monthly reports, weekly reports and it shows how well the company is doing over a certain amount of time. And from my previous work experience, um, in event management, Tradedoubler had acknowledged that I had done that and, um, also had allowed me to participate in creating an event for them for one of the top, er, grocery… people! in the market.
I've learnt in my industry that it’s always good to put yourself forward and no matter what you should always show 100% drive in what you do and passion for the work that you do. Even if it's a daily report or even if it's just something small, it always helps and it definitely contributes to the organisation and at the end of the day right, they will recognise the skills that you do have and they will always put you forward for the best opportunity that they can provide.
Some of my experiences with Absolute have been to bath in Stonehenge, I would have normally not done that if I hadn’t have been with Absolute. Um, and we’ve also been to Brighton. We’ve been, er, had movie nights here at Nedos, student accommodation. And we’ve also done, several er, day trips and excursions like bike rides we’ve also, um, been to Hyde Park, Buckingham Palace, changing of the guards, and we’ve also been to music festivals and, um, gone out clubbing together and bonded like, just like a family would.
