(December 3, 2012) Weather Forecast. (It`s Snowing Right Now.)
This evening, when I was thinking about what to write for today’s journal,I heard from the weather forecast that it was snowing.
The weather forecast is now reporting the present weather.I’ m attaching a link to it. How was listening to a Korean weather forecast while watching the video?
According to the weather forecast,
temperatures will go down/fall a lot and roads will be frozen tomorrow morning so everyone should pay attention when driving.

• Before I write an English entry I usually feel a little tense/ nervous, because I know it’s not easy to write an English entry due to my poor English and I know that writing an English journal is difficult for me, which means that it takes me a long time to write each journal entry.
• Whew! But there’s no other way… I just need time, and I will write more and more entries… one by one...
• I don’t need to rush, but instead to write it slowly and steadily…
• So now I will begin writing today's entry in English!
• The entry below is my Chinese journal from yesterday morning, and now I will write an English version, too.

• I was tired because I was out all day yesterday.
• It was misty. The morning mist was covering everything.
• Probably it was because last night the temperature rose.
• There was a thick morning mist, probably because the temperature was quite high (the night before / last night.)
• Last night when I came back home the whole road was covered with mist.
• All the roads were covered with mist, just like the background of a movie scene.
• Everything was covered in mist, just looks like in a movie scene.
• A scene from the movie ‘Rebeca’, the access way to an old castle covered with thick mist, came to mind.
• It’s cloudy and the sun is hidden, so the mist remains.

• Last night I came back home very lately, past 11:00pm.( It was past 11:00pm when I got home.)
• Yesterday evening I met my friend and had a simple dinner, and then we watched a music-related movie.
• There were so many scenes where they were playing music and they played it for a long time.
• Therefore it made me feel a bit like I was watching and enjoying a concert. (/ Therefore it felt a bit like watching a concert.)
• ~~~~ah , there’s no time left for this now.
• I should go out now more quickly(/as soon as possible / now /).I will tell you the rest of the story when/after I get back home tonight.

(December 1,2012) Grooming My Two Dogs ---------------
Using my free time on Saturday, I groomed my two dogs by myself.
After finishing, they looked more sleeker and cleaner.
It looked like two black, baby bears were turned into a smart gentleman and lady.
Even though my back is in pain now, I feel good and a load is off my mind.
It looks like I finally completed my old homework.（^_^）

What is the Mediterranean diet?

In the daily barrage of conflicting health advice, one theme stands out - eat a Mediterranean diet, and you will live a longer, healthier life. The latest addition to a list that includes reductions in childhood asthma, hay fever, and Alzheimer's is a 12-year study from the US which claims that eating the Mediterranean way can halve the risk of serious lung disease.

But 21 different countries border the Mediterranean - so where exactly is this fabled diet to be found? Greece? Italy? Lebanon? Minoan Crete? Paul Gayler, executive chef at the Lanesborough Hotel in London and author of the book Mediterranean Cook, declines to be specific. If he had to choose one typical country with a typical diet? "I suppose Italy." Then he qualifies it. "Spain and Italy. Or southern France."

"It's a lighter type of eating, isn't it," he says. "More things are grilled rather than fried." He goes on to cite vegetables, especially tomatoes, "low in fat" tuna and swordfish and, of course, olive oil (there is even a study which claims that taking four teaspoons a day can defend against cancer).

Not everyone is persuaded. "One thing they never tell you about the Mediterranean diet," says Matthew Fort, author of Eating Up Italy: Voyages on a Vespa, "is that in southern Italy, southern Spain and Sicily the fat used in cooking is pig fat and in North Africa it's mutton fat. Our understanding of the Mediterranean diet bears little resemblance to the diet of real people."

Fort argues that poverty has kept many reliant on vegetables, pulses, and cheap fish. Now there is more money, there is more meat, more fat, more obesity. It seems the "Mediterranean diet" is just a convenient shorthand for an ideal.
