As Mike Johnson stares down a serious threat to his speakership, he’s taking steps to show alignment with the most powerful figure in the Republican Party: Donald Trump.

Johnson has made plans to trek down to Mar-a-Lago on Friday to appear at a joint news conference with the former president to deliver remarks on “election integrity” – a topic Trump cares deeply about. The development was first reported by CNN.

Meanwhile, Johnson’s allies have asked Trump to publicly support the speaker, or at least stay out all together of his back-and-forth with House Republicans, according to multiple sources close to both Johnson and Trump. And people have also been counseling Johnson to keep Trump in the loop on a yet-to-be-released Ukraine aid package – a politically perilous policy issue that could draw the ire of Trump, divide the House GOP and end Johnson’s rookie speakership.

Today, I'm thrilled to present my internship experience at Boulanger as part of my preparation for the National Higher in Sales Techniques for my B. Tech degree.
Firstly, let me introduce the shop. Boulanger is a leading retail chain of stores in electronics and home appliances. They provide range of high-quality products, excellent customer service, and innovative shopping experience. There are over 150 stores across France and a robust online presence.
I worked under the guidance of my tutor, and I'd like to share now my experience as an intern in this company.
Throughout my internship, my tutor, Kevin, was supportive. He has a good knowledge of the shop and was a patient tutor providing good guidance and valuable feedback.
Speaking of duties, I was given a lot of responsibilities. I assisted customers with product inquiries. I had to demonstrate the features and benefits of various products. I sometimes processed transactions. I therefore developed essential sales skills such as active listening and problem-solving, or handling with the customers’ objections. These are key skills for success in the retail industry.
I also learned the sales techniques of upselling and cross-selling to boost the sales. I suggested complementary products or upgrades. For example, I always tried to persuade the customer to buy a more expensive product or add additional services such as the insurance guarantee. Another example is when a customer is buying a new laptop, I may recommend a laptop bag, a wireless mouse, or an antivirus software as complementary items.
In conclusion, my internship at Boulanger has been a great opportunity to develop and gain new skills. Interning at Boulanger was enriching, and I am now much more confident. I think interning is the golden ticket to a full-time job after my degree.

Our trip to New Zealand was wonderful!

First, we flew to Wellington, the capital. We stayed at the Sheraton there for two nights. The weather was warm and sunny. We went sightseeing and just relaxed at the pool.
From Wellington, we flew to Roturua, and rented a car. We went sailing on Lake Tarawera and we climbed a volcano, Mount Tarawera. One night, we took a bus tour to a traditional Maori village and stayed for dinner and a concert. It was a special evening.

We plan to come back to New Zealand soon, but for now, we’re on our way to Australia!

Quoc Hoc – Hue is one of the oldest schools in Vietnam. It is on the bank of the Huong River, in Hue. It was founded in 1896. It used to be a school for children from rich and royal families. Well-known people such as Ho Chi Minh, Vo Nguyen Giap, and Xuan Dieu studied there.

Nowadays, the school is for gifted students. They are intelligent and study hard. They have to pass an entrance exam to enter the school. The school has over 50 classrooms with TVs, projectors, and computers. It also has a swimming pool, a library, two English labs, four computer rooms, and many other modern facilities. The school is one of the largest and most beautiful schools in Vietnam.

When Sophie was a little girl, she dreamed about visiting another country. One day, while looking on the internet, she was surprised to learn about a way to travel and study abroad. First, Sophie would have to decide which country to visit. She would also need to learn a foreign language to take tests and write essays. Sophie quickly knew it would take a lot of work to make her dreams come true, so she began working with her parents on making plans.

Sophie was so excited about her future that she spent an entire summer working with her dad to save money. She also took French lessons because she always dreamed about traveling to Paris. The following summer, Sophie was accepted into an exchange program and spent a year traveling and studying abroad.
