B: “Good morning Mr / Mrs Smith, I am here to apply for the job”
B : “My name is Rick and I am 18 years old. I live in the neighbourhood and I saw your advert on the Internet.”
B: “Well, I have two little brothers and one little sister and I very often take care of them, especially in the summer. Tom and Andrew are 11 and 10 and Suzy is 5. I take care of them, I prepare simple but healthy snacks and I know how to be strict when they misbehave. I am extremely patient and serious. I also learned how to perform first aid three years ago.”
B: “Yes, I have. I have worked in two different summer camps and last year I worked in a school. I really enjoy working with children. You see, I would like to become a teacher.”
B: “That is not a problem.”
B: “That’s ok too, but maybe not on Tuesdays as I have my dance lessons.”
B: “202-555-0109. I look forward to hearing from you. Thank you and good bye!”
A: “Good morning.”
A: “Yes, tell me a little about yourself, please”
A: “All right. Do you have any babysitting experience?”
A: “That’s good, but have you ever worked with other children?”
A: “All right. Are you OK with working on weekends?”
A: “All right. What about working in the evening?”
A: “All right. Well, Selma, we will contact you by the end of the week. Can you give us your phone number, please?”
