Hi. I'm John. My favourite day is Saturday. On Saturdays I have a big breakfast. I always have milk and cereal for breakfast. In the morning I go shopping with my friends to the supermarket. I come home at twelve o'clock. Then I have lunch. After lunch I go to the park and I play football with my dad. Sometimes I ride my bike. In the evening I do my homework or I sometimes read magazines. Then I watch my favourite programme on the television. My favourite TV-channel is an animal programme, called Animal Planet. It's on Saturdays and Sundays at eight o'clock. I go to bed at nine o'clock.

My name is Tina. I'm eleven. I'm from England. My favourite day is Monday. On Mondays I get up at eight. Then I have breakfast. My breakfast is a bit unusual. I always have cheese and bread for breakfast. I have a shower at quarter past eight. I always comb my hair and brush my teeth. Then I go to school at half past eight. After school I have lunch. Then I watch TV, play computer games and do my homework. I always study for the next day. I sometimes ride my bike or play with my friends. In the evening I wash my face and I wear my favourite pyjamas. I go to sleep at quarter to nine.

Hi. I'm Tom. I'm ten years old. I've got short blond hair and brown eyes. I'm tall and thin. I live with my dad, my mum, my little sister and my grandparents. I've got lots of hobbies. I like playing football and basketball but I don't like dancing. My favourite sport is rollerblading. On Mondays I play football. On Tuesdays I go rollerblading. On Wednesdays I do my homework and ride my bike. On Thursdays I use the internet and write emails to my friends. On Fridays I watch television. My favourite programme is The Simpsons. It's a comedy show. It's on Fridays on Channel 4 at five o'clock. I love it. I always watch it.

I've got a pet. It's a hamster, called Hummy. My Hammy is a beautiful animal. He's small and funny. His fur is black, white, brown and red. He's got a short tail, small ears and small black eyes. He's funny and friendly.
My Hammy lives in a cage. He doesn't need a lot of space. In his cage there is an exercise wheel, a tunnel and some wooden toys that he can play with.
He needs a lot of exercise. He likes running, chewing toys and climbing. He is active in the morning and in the evening.
He eats fruits, vegetables and nuts. He can carry food in his cheecks.

I live in a small town. There's a park with lots of trees and flowers. There's a big nice school. It's near my house. I always walk to school. The school has a school library. It's modern. You can read and borrow your books and magazines. You can study and do your homework in the library. The park is between the sports centre and the school. In the park you can read books, feed ducks or play with your friends. There's a small cafe. You can eat a sandwich and drink juice or coffee. There is one big sports centre. In the sports centre you can play tennis, football or basketball. You can swim, too.
There are many houses and lots of shops. My favourite shop is a big toy shop. There is one restaurant. The restaurant opposite the shops is my favourite. Me and my family eat lunch in this restaurant every Sunday. We always have soup, chicken, potatoes and salad for lunch. There aren't any cinemas or churches. I like my town.

Do you know Millie Bird? Millie Bird is small and friendly. Millie Bird is a bird. She's got a sharp bill, wings and two short legs. She is nice and hardworking. She can fly and sing very well. She's got three babies. She loves her three babies. She takes care of them. Millie Bird lives in a tree in the wood. She built a nest. Millie's baby birds are little and beautiful. They aren't dangerous. They can't fly yet. They eat worms. They are happy when their mum feeds them. Look out from your window. Can you see Millie Bird and her babies?

This is my dog, called Lucky. He is a puppy. He is four months old. Lucky is small and friendly. He has got brown, black and white fur. He has got small black ears and small black eyes. He sleeps in the basket next to my bed in my bedroom. He is very cute and clever. He likes everyone.

Lucky is very playful. He wants to be outside all the time. He likes running and playing with everyone, especially with young children. He likes playing with balls and sticks. I always throw a ball and Lucky chases it. He needs fresh water every day and he still eats puppy food. I take care of him every day. I feed him three times a day and I brush his fur and clean his eyes, ears and teeth once a week. I spend all the time with him because I love Lucky and we are best friends.

Dear Penfriend,
My first meal of the day is breakfast. In the middle of the day I have lunch and in the afternoon I have dinner. My favourite meal is breakfast. I have breakfast at seven o'clock. I always have cereal and yoghurt for breakfast. In the morning I always have an apple, too. I like apples.
In the middle of the day I have lunch. I have a steak and potatoes for lunch. I never have rice for lunch. I don't like rice.
In the afternoon I have dinner. I have dinner at half past seven.
I sometimes have a slice of pizza for dinner, but I never have chocolate ice cream for dinner. I always have bananas and yoghurt.
I like everything. I like fruit, vegetables, sweet food and salty food, but my favourite food is cake. I like cakes.
