These sentence examples are helpful in my properly understanding French grammar notes. I would also like to hear their audio versions. So thanks in advance to anyone who is going to help with it. As these examples are of the 1970s' publication, I am wondering if they are somewhat dated. Your comments are welcome. Please excuse my not writing in French, it is still a hugely intimidating task for me at this point.

I've recorded the original and my suggestion for a more natural sentence on both occasions, but 5€/kilo for pears is quite expensive!
